I've got awesome news for everyone that's been looking forward to the Compass Speedball Field: IT'S ALMOST HERE!
We've got a few finishing touches to put on the field (we have to finish hanging the net) and then we'll be ready to start playing speedball!
Keep watching this page and our Facebook page for information and pricing on our upcoming scrimmage matches at the annual Faith Family Fun Fair later this year!
Thanks to everyone who came out and donated their time to help with the field! In just a few weeks we'll be ready to open and we couldn't have done it without all the great volunteers that came out and helped not only with the speedball field, but the woodsball field as well. We really appreciate all of your time, effort and hard work!

Coming soon: SPEEDBALL!
Good news, everyone! We're almost ready to open the new speedball field! We've got a little more work to do first, and we need as much help as we can get to make sure it all gets done as quickly as possible! If you're interested in helping out, stop by the field on any of our open days and talk to Don (or whoever else may be in charge that day) and ask them when you can come out and help!

Website downtime
Within the next few weeks, our website will be experiencing a very, very long period of downtime. There is currently no estimate on how long this downtime will last. This downtime is to repair a bunch of problems on the server. I will have everything back up as soon as our host as re-enabled the site. Sorry for any inconvenience. I'm just as irritated by this as you probably are. ;)

For His Kingdom
I havent blogged in quit some time ,my apologies. We are still striving to keep the Compass a Faith based ministry through memory verses, resurrection games, devotionals and fellowship. We want to continue to mentor the youth and teach them to build each other up.Things are going well with the woodsball arena ,which actually has a hint of speedball as well.Ill admit we are not perfect and occasionally run into difficulties .We will continue to enhance our performance through training and effectively using constructive critism. We have recently held a PRO class 0n the 19 of June to help qualify our referees to be more effective on the field.I would like to give Dean Goldsmith a huge thanks as he has devoted a lot of time and made this possible. Our staff is growing, however we are still looking for a few good men and women.Individuals interested in reffing, mentoring, shop operation,as well as anyone with fund raising experience would be great.Anyone interested can contact Don Robertson at 843-209-5031.We are currenty in progress on finishing the speedball field and will keep you informed.Just remember this ministry is for all ages in the community, but that is is about our youth and pointing them in the right direction. On a positive note in the last 2 months 4 young men and 1 young lady excepted Christ as there savior.Bravo Zulu to all the staff and praise God for the opportunity. Thanks Don R.

Website undergoing maintenece
Sorry for the inconvenience, but our website is having some maintenance done. The downtime may last up to a week, but as far as I know, it shouldn't be much longer than that. I know we've had a lot of downtime in the past, but this should be the last time for a long time. Sorry again for the inconvenience!
